SEAFOOD GUMBO:- our HOUSE SPECIALITY.
Our famous Gumbo is a particularly fine
example of this spicy Cajun stew. In fact, 'stew' is by far
an understatement for this acclaimed and world-renowned dish.
We do not use okra or sassefrass-file
to thicken our Gumbo, but instead we DO include a huge selection of the
finest and freshest local fish and shellfish from the crystal
clear waters around the Isle of Skye..
And then, we add to that our very own special secret
blend of authentic Cajun herbs and spices, with the result being a
veritable seafood feast in a bowl!
Never ask Chef what ingredients he puts in his Gumbo
(it's a HUGE secret that he won't even tell the management), but
don't be at all surprised if a tiny tentacle floats to the top!
